Anna Spillen graduated from Virginia Tech in 2001, earning a BA in Studio Painting with a concentration in oil and watercolors. She then moved herself and her love of nature out west to Colorado in 2002. Since moving to Colorado, Anna has earned her Colorado Teaching License and Masters of Education in Art K-12 from Regis University. She currently teaches high school art in Littleton Public Schools and is an active member of the art community. She has been the Co-Chair of Art Council in her district for the past 3 years and a member of Colorado Art Education Association. Since the start of her teaching career Anna has had gold, silver, and honorable mention winners in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, which is Colorado’s State wide art competition. For the past six years Anna has traveled to Blacksburg, Virginia every summer to teach local and traveling summer camps with an organization called SEEDS. She looks forward to teaching and sharing new experiences here in Colorado!
